Finding the best path for your career can be daunting! I have been in the field for over 10 years, and have done everything from enhanced residential treatment, to school-based PHP, and finally to outpatient private practice. I had many great experiences in each area, yet as a person-centered therapist, I found that private practice had the most flexibility to meet my client's needs. I love a job where I can bring my animals with me to the office, walk around in slippers, and have a relaxed and casual environment with my clients.
At Ren & Rei Counseling, we are a relaxed, small private practice that utilizes animals in our therapy work. We are primarily focused on helping new clinicians get started in this field. This includes a very competitive wage, licensure supervision, and opportunities for learning new techniques and obtaining certifications. We are looking for clinicians with LAPCs, those obtaining an LAPC, or even any LPCs who would like to be part of a cooperative group practice.
We provide a beautiful office with furnished rooms, and our staff manage insurance contracting, client referrals (though you are welcome to find or bring your own), benefits evaluations, billing, copay collection, and insurance payment tracking. This gives clinicians the freedom to fully focus on their clients and on their training and skills to mature as a therapist. Free supervision to obtain your LPC will help you to further refine your skills and manage the stresses of navigating the complex and challenging world of clinical mental health therapy.
Clinicians are paid a flat rate per hour so that they can concentrate on the clients instead of the minutiae of medical billing and insurance claims. This allows our clinicians to avoid the headaches of rejected claims, insurance types, and session types. A flat rate helps maintain a steady flow of pay despite the vast difference in insurance payments.
If a relaxed, casual environment where you can learn and grow as a therapist while snuggling our therapy animals sounds like something you would be interested in, reach out and let’s talk!
